Mountain Bike 101 Class

IMG_0042

Ever wonder how and why the parts on a mountain bike do what they do? Or maybe why one wheel size is preferred over another for a certain type of riding? Suspension setup? Drivetrain differences?  If you have these questions and want to know more about your bike and other bikes on the market then this is for you!

We will be going through a variety of basics about mountain bikes and educating you on the options of what may work best for you. Between setup and product choice you can drastically change the way your ride feels and preforms. These changes can be simple too! Such as tire pressure, lever position, and seat height.

Bring your bike cause we will use various bikes from the people in attendance to demonstrate on and use as examples. It will also allow us to make some minor changes to your bike before heading out to the trail for a ride following the class.

The class will be taught by Professional Mountain Biker Josh Patton who wants to share his passion for mountain biking with you. This is an in classroom session.

This class will last around 3 hours with a group ride for those who want to join to follow.

This class is currently only offered in the London location. That is where the mountain biking is. We plan to have a class in Richmond sometime this summer, but do not have a date as of yet.
